High density of trash melee enemies can be a safe way to clear much higher GRs than difficult enemy types (such as those electrical ranged ghosts 1-shotting you). It really isn't hard to go far beyond 1000 paragons like this, whereas if you play solo or T13 that's a huge commitment. Playing the 4-man speed meta is night and day compared to anything else when it comes to getting paragon levels. If you haven't played "the 4-man meta" before, don't be intimidated, it's easy to get the hang of. Keep in mind that only well geared DPSes gets to play these roles, as such it's a good idea to start the season focusing on a DPS, otherwise just stick to a zDPS. Keep an eye on the "GR finding" communities to get an idea of what there is a demand for and to join a group. Maximise gem level in 4-man push (dps nec, meteor wiz, zmonk, zbarb).
